Statement

I’m interested in still life. Everything moves by so quickly and I’m someone who prefers time, slowly. I started printing just over a year ago. Up until that time, the art being produced was created and displayed almost entirely on/for screens/internet. I wasn’t making very much physical work and gallery exhibition wasn’t for me or goal, since art school. A death in my family juxtaposed with a global pandemic sort of presented a different path and making art for a human “irl” is now my priority. I’m just trying to reassert my reality like everyone else.

Kevin Stephen Hupfer b. 1985 is an image and motion composer born in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA, where he currently lives and works.
